Yun'nan black tea takes its name from Yun'nan province in southwestern China, a mountainous region celebrated for its tea traditions. Its rounded, rich, and malty character makes a welcome companion to chilly camp mornings.
Longjing, also called Dragon Well, has its roots around Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. Known for its mild flavor and gentle nutty notes, it’s a lighter cup for a quiet trail break.
Why We Made It
Why We Made It
We put a lot of thought into what we eat outside. What goes in our mugs deserves the same attention.
We wanted Chinese tea to have a place at camp, without bringing extra brewing gear or packing out wet leaves or a wet soggy teabag. So we picked two classics and put them in individual sachets. A little comfort for early starts, slow mornings, and wherever you stop for the night.
Does it taste good? Well, our dad tested this product and went on a 30 minute lecture about the different types of Chinese tea and their various histories, so we think he was inspired by how good the tea turned out.

FAQ
FAQ
How many servings are in each pouch? Each pouch contains 10 individual sachets: five Yun'nan black tea and five Longjing green tea. Each sachet contains 1 g of instant tea powder and makes one cup.
How do I prepare it? Empty one sachet into a mug, add 240 mL (about 8 fl oz) of hot water, and stir until dissolved. Adjust the water to your preferred strength.
Is this loose-leaf tea or a tea bag? Neither. It’s instant tea: a soluble powder that goes directly into your water. There’s no steeping, straining, or tea bag to remove.
What’s the difference between the two teas? Yun'nan black tea has a richer, maltier character. Longjing green tea is lighter, with a fresh flavor and gentle nutty notes. Each pouch includes five of each so you can switch things up.
Does it contain caffeine? Yes. Both teas naturally contain caffeine.
Why bring it camping or backpacking? The individual sachets are small, easy to portion, and simple to share. All you need is a mug and hot water, with no separate brewing equipment or wet leaves to carry home. Pack out the empty wrappers.
Can I bring just a few sachets? Absolutely. Take what you need for an overnight trip or bring the whole pouch to share around camp.
How should I store it? Keep sachets sealed in a cool, dry place.
